In this edition of the APN Wire:
The beginning of December signals a lot of things… holiday seasons in full swing, reflections on the speed at which time has flown by this year, and the final 2021 issue of the APN Wire. I want to thank everyone who has been a part of my year. Thanks to all my new contacts that have welcomed me to Southern California. I can’t believe I have been here for almost a year! I also deeply appreciate my connections in the Bay Area. My network there continues to grow, and I am so excited to keep in touch about how things are going. 2021 has been a year of zigs and zags, but I am grateful that the content I am putting out there is still adding value.
Speaking of new content, please take some time to listen to one of my last podcasts of the season. This episode’s theme is all about curiosity and I hope that you all find a way to add more curiosity to your 2022. We all need to get back out there and engage with one another again. I am looking forward to more in-person events like the PACCIN Conference in Bentonville. Keep an eye out for an Art Pro Net event in your area next summer. I am working on some big plans.
Finally, keep an eye out for a new look with my newsletter and website. I am going to work over the next couple of months to redesign and revamp the look and feel of my content. I am also going to look for more ways to engage directly with all of you and help you get your stories out there. If you are an art pro that wants to share your perspective, let me know! I want to find ways to help bring up topics that need to be discussed and get us all curious about ways that we can make our community stronger now and in the future. If you are interested in being an ally in this change, please reach out and let me know. I am looking for contributors, mentors, emerging professionals, or those of you that are looking to initiate and build your network. Don’t be shy!
I hope 2021 winds down in a wonderful way for you all. I also hope 2022 brings you everything you want, as well as everything you can handle. Be well!
