In this edition of the APN Wire:I am so excited…We are open again! Well kind of, I don’t know about you all but this is only the beginning of ramping back up for me. The good news is people all over the place are looking for help. If you are looking and experienced you need to get out there and start making connections. Positions are opening all over the state.
Also, training is an awesome way to beef up your resume. There are virtual training options all summer and in-person training opportunities are coming back too! Check out the mount-making classes available here on the West Coast, and an interesting virtual mentoring event with ARCS. These kinds of sessions are great places to connect with peers and established art pros.
Finally, check out this week’s articles and see what new things are coming to our community. From old monuments to new buildings things are moving again. These also include some interesting transitions in collections care, staff management, and cultural heritage provenance. Take a minute to get up to speed on what is happening and how it could affect you.
