Happy 2020, Everyone! I hope you all have had a smooth start to your year. I am excited to bring you our new and improved newsletter. We have added all sorts of new sections and are now working with advertisers. This includes the Featured Opportunities where we are looking for art handlers right now! Also, we are going to start posting art pro opportunities from around the state. We are looking for collaborators and partners, so reach out if you are interested in being a part of our platforms. I am hoping to help all of you in the bay area and beyond.
This week’s podcast starts off season 2, and I give you my tips for applying for opportunities. There are tons of places looking for art pros in the area, but applying for them the right way is how you get noticed. Listen to this episode and get my viewpoint as a hiring manager. I hope your application is better after getting my tips from the other side of the process. Reach out if you think you need more help making an impact.
Finally, I started my year working with some awesome teams. Big shout out to MaryTess, Cara, and Brooke who do amazing work at Blue Line Arts in Roseville. I added the info on the Craft Nouveau show I helped manage for them with works from artists all over the world.
