In this edition of the APN Wire:
Good News! If your reading this there are basically only 2.5 months left in 2020. Don’t know about you, but that makes me smile. It has been a year of chaos and change. This issue takes a look at many of those changes and how reviewing where we are now versus where we were earlier this year can help us make sure we are headed in the right direction.
Our latest podcast will help you think through reviewing and editing your processes and protocols. We discuss what to consider, meeting styles, and the concept of a dynamic plan. If your plan never gets reconsidered it will become irrelevant and unhelpful. Make a review schedule for all your evergreen processes and plans today.
Also, take a look at the articles in this edition to see what big changes are going on with art pros all over our industry. People are standing up for their beliefs and deciding what is most important. Why do we do what we do? What are the things in your organization that need to be changed? There are some big shifts in priority happening all over, and I hope that you can impact positive transitions in your environment.
Finally, there are big shifts in my world too! I will be joining the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art as the Head of Collections Management. I can’t tell you how excited I am to become a part of their team. I am also psyched to connect further with the SoCal art pros out there. I will still be working in the Bay Area, but I am looking forward to expanding APN’s reach and mission. Please reach out if you are in Southern California and need help! Thanks for reading, sharing, and liking the APN Wire!
