The last couple of weeks has been filled with a lot of loss and sadness in the art world.  From the looting in Ukraine to the death of a California curatorial icon, there are things happening that require consideration and recovery.  Some museums are really stepping up, and in our articles section you can check out new missions and policies that are aimed at making things better.  I hope that we all can find hope in the initiatives of others.

Recovery is needed in many areas of our community, and the latest episode of the Art Pro Net Podcast is aimed at helping with just that.  Episode 7 is all about tips for reviving your post-pandemic network.  It is through building relationships that art pros can find a career path, learn new things, and get the most out of conferences.  We are getting back out there and I can not wait to see everyone headed to the PACCIN Conference in Bentonville next week!

Finally, it can also help to know what others are going through.  Art Pro Perspectives will launch this summer with personal stories about topics that you all are going through.  I want to thank those of you who have shared your experiences with me.  I also am still looking for contributors, so please reach out if you have an account, topic, or perspective about our industry that you want to share.  It is only through discussion that we can continue to identify what needs repairing in our community.  Please email me at connect@artpronet.com if you are interested in sharing your thoughts.

My deepest condolences to all those connected to Connie Lewallen.  I am glad I got the chance to get to know her.  She will be missed.
