What a week! If you have not been following the news do yourself a favor and take a look. This has been a big week in a lot of ways (we won’t even get into the presidential situation…not that kind of newsletter), but the changes in gig law in California are going to be an important topic to keep an eye on. I have included a couple of articles and a resource for those of you who want to learn more and keep tabs on the way this develops. It will affect all of us who work freelance in this state.
Speaking of regulations, if you haven’t had a chance to listen to my ADA podcast, check it out. I go over some important numbers and info regarding the laws around egress and accessibility. Also, in our resources section, I have included a link to the Smithsonian ADA manual I reference. Join me in finding ways to include people of all abilities and not just make the minimum effort.
