Who run the world? Welcome to the girl power edition of the APN Wire! This issue is all about identifying with the women of the art pro world. From those that inspire us to those hidden behind the scenes, it is important to recognize that we are out there making a difference. Take a look at the articles section to learn more about how women everywhere make our community great by doing everything from conservation to changing the status quo for the better.
Speaking of contributions, this edition’s resource section is full of organizations focused on support and advocacy. One of my favorites has been teaching girls and gender-expansive youth that there are opportunities out there for them to be engaged with design and construction. Girls Garage supports educating and offering opportunities to those that might be excluded from learning how to build and fabricate. Also, check out museum leaders taking on hard topics in museums and planning for a more positive future. Women are taking on new roles in leadership with a strong voice and a hand out to the next generation.
